The closest Chinese word to signify stress is crisis. It is written as two characters, danger and opportunity.

consultations

Each client is an individual, and I like to take a spacious amount time to jointly develop a thorough picture of their health situation - an hour and a quarter for each appointment. I trust that my clients hold the knowledge of what they need; I provide assistance in getting clear about the big picture and the specifics of a holistic health plan.

I like to work with clients with mild to severe symptoms of stress, including anxiety, depression, and feeling overwhelmed. Stress can also reduce the ability of all our body's systems to function optimally, leading to compromised digestion, circulation, hormone production, and insomnia.

During assessments, I aim to develop an understanding of my client as a whole, their symptoms, and the physical and emotional roots that may have led to these symptoms. I use a comprehensive questionnaire, iridology, careful observation, and pay close attention to how the diverse effects of stress are manifesting in each individual. I like to understand the big picture of what life in general is like for each client, including physical, emotional and social aspects. I aim to get a thorough understanding of past, current, and inherited health issues. I use iridology to detect underlying imbalances that may be the cause of felt symptoms - such as signs of stress, tension, anxiety, a build-up of toxins, food sensitivities, nutritional deficiencies, excess yeast, acidity imbalances, mucus congestion, and much more.

Once we have developed this multi-leveled assessment together, we develop an agreeable holistic health plan. The intent of the plan is to help the body back into balance so that it is better supported and able to perform all its' normal functions. Modalities may include herbal remedies, nutrition, vitamins and minerals, as well as the practice of mindfulness, relaxation breathing and emotional explorations with Hakomi mind/body therapy.
